Nine weeks today! And a whole 2 months old Saturday past. To mark the occasion little Christian gave mommy two hearty laughs. The first was a result of my funny faces in reaction to his very stinky poop! The second came when I tickled his tummy just above the belly button. The tickling didn't produce the same reaction the second time around, so although sporadic they were still definite laughs and music to my ears. Tomorrow is a scary day as I'm taking him in for his first set of shots. I can't say that I'm not nervous but I feel better now that I've been workng hard to build up his little immune system in the past three weeks. The other piece of exciting news is that his is sleeping 6 hours through the night whick is making evenings much easier on mommy. VIVA FERBERIZATION! Kisses

Eight weeks today! I just can't believe it! Christian is growing out of all his little undershirts and jammies, he's graduated to a bigger diaper size and I think that by next week we'll be going up one more. I'm so proud to see all the progress he makes each and every day. Today he grabbed his soother and pulled it out of his mouth (he started screaming right after but that's irrelevant). Also, his turned himself over onto his side TWICE, once on the change table and once on the couch. I guess gone are the days of plopping him down anywhere without having to worry!

Christian is 7 weeks old today and mommy and daddy can't help but ooze pride. He is developing so quickly and becoming such a little man. He has so much that he wants to say but just can't get his tongue around it (literally). He had a bit of an ear infection last week but luckily it was an exterior infection only and nothing severe came of it. Smiles and laughter are becoming more frequent everyday and he's doing really well settling into a bedtime routine. Bed at 10pm, feeding at 4am, then back to bed till 7pm. Naps aren't so popular with him unless he's in his stroller but I'm sure that will work itself out soon enough. KISSES

Christian is 6 weeks old today and mommy is the big 30. He's still doing well, growing like a weed but dealing with a bit of baby acne but nothing we can't handle. He's began to goo and gaa. It seems he's got lots to say but doesn't know exactly how to put it. His eyes are pretty good at focusing now and he follows objects placed in front of him and makes very good eye contact. Christian is 5 weeks old today and mommy is feeling a bit depressed at how fast he's growing. It's feeling combined with pride and sadness to see my wee one maturing. He's growing physically and he's learning very quickly. He's personality is really starting to come out too. I love the little pouty lip and he smiles more and more each day. He's starting to make more sounds and his eyes are getting pretty good at focusing. I may have to get rid of some of his newborn sleepers by weeks end and he's gone up a diaper size. Despite all this he's still mommy's baby and hushes immediately when in my arms.
