  Hello there everyone. I will try to make this note a little longer and more detailed. I haven't given much news or posted any recent belly pictures because I have been very busy lately and a bit stressed. First of all I do have some recent belly pictures and I will hopefully get to post them soon when I get that film developed. Now as for my source of stress it is because we recently (three weeks ago) moved to a new apartment and the move hasn't gone as swiftly as I'd hoped but we're sorting it out. Then this week I just found out that I have developed Gestational Diabetes and I've been focusing all my energy on appointments getting info and trying not to freak out. I'm very glad that it's Friday and hopefully by Monday I'll be feeling somewhat normal and human. Feeling human lately hasn't really been possible, I feel more like Shamoo! The baby has grown quite a bit because of the diabetes and I feel absolutely huge and heavy. I am proud to say however that despite this enormous abdomen I still move a hell of alot faster than most people rushing to work in the morning so I know I'll feel nice and fit when my little guy finally decides to come out and face the world. I CAN'T wait to meet him! Anyway I should get going as I still have some papers to grade before I leave for the weekend and I'm taking a group of students bowling. I'm not going to bother throwing the ball, I think I'll just roll myself down the lane. I'm sure to get a strike everytime! Kisses

  Went for another check-up yesterday (going for one every two weeks now). Everything continues to be going well except that this week he measured a bit bigger than is normal (2 centimetres to be exact). Mommy has to go do some bloodwork now to rule out diabetes but I'm not letting myself panic too much because I'm not demonstrating any of the symptoms normally associated with gestational diabetes. Chances are they were just off on my due date which if that is the case, our little treasure will be arriving sooner than atticipated. I'm getting excited now, I can't wait to meet him. Got him his first Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey yesterday and I can't wait to see him in it. Also, looking forward to starting my maternity leave soon. Not that I don't love my job it's just that everyday is becoming more and more of a challenge to roll (literally) out of bed and waddle to work. Kisses from us all to all of you.

  Just a quick update on last weeks appointment. Everything is still going really well and we count our blessings everyday. The midwife was able to finally locate his head and I am proud to say that the little guy has done a successful rotation, head is down and bum is up. The only drawback is that recently he has found it cute to place a foot under my ribs which isn't always fun for mum. Daddy has been really good with mummy's not so pleasant moods and we're anxious for the big day. Hugs and kisses!
